Include healthy fats in your diet. Eating fat doesn’t necessarily make you fat!  Many immune supportive vitamins, like Vitamin E or beta-carotene and hormones, like Vitamin D require some fat in the diet for absorption.  Pass the avocado, please!

5 Exercises to Fix Hunchback Posture

When you have a desk job, or simply sit in a chair for a few hours, your shoulders tend to rotate forwards so that your body becomes hunched over. Check out this video to help correct rounded shoulders from office work.

Basal Metabolic Rate

Your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) is an estimate of how many calories your body burns at rest. It represents the minimum amount of energy needed to keep your body functioning, including breathing and keeping your heart beating. Your BMR uses up about two-thirds of your daily calories. Plank Exercises

Here are 3 variations of the plank exercise to help target your abs and keep your workouts fresh. Use proper form and technique when doing this exercise.

Berry Breakfast Smoothie

1 cup frozen raspberries

3/4 cup chilled unsweetened almond milk

1/4 cup frozen pitted cherries or blueberries

1 1/2 Tbsp honey

2 tsp finely grated ginger

1 tsp ground flaxseed

1-2 tsp fresh lemon juice

Combine all ingredients in a blender, adding lemon juice to taste. Puree until smooth.

Serves 2.
